The Why's

I am currently working on a complete review of the electoral process of 2009 and the parties involved. A look on the repercussions to the country, the would be and the would have been's, governance by the Congress in the past, governance by the BJP in the past and governance in the future. Established economic, security, healthcare, education et al policies of the combatants, and the expected policies of the Congress in the absence of any such established policies.

ETA - 6 months.

Why LK Advani and the BJP stumbled majorly?
Why Nitish Kumar and Naveen Patnaik did well?
Why Behenji and Mulayamji succumbed to the Rahul effect?
Why Chandrababu Naidu faltered under the onslaught of YSR?
Why the NCP didn't fare well enough to put Sharad Pawar on the national map (was he ever in contention)?
Why Mamata is such a pain to the country?
Why the BJP is not suited to the role of a national party today?
Why its prime ministerial candidate was also one of its weakest links?
Why the minority would go with the Congress or in some cases with other parties?
Why the Congress doesn't really bring great tidings for the country?
Why the BJP would have brought worse tidings under the same scenario?
Why are dynastic politics such a major force in India?
Why governance is so crappy (for the lack of a more politically correct word) in India?
Why the media plays such a major and at times, a visibly minor, unfruitful and intruding role in India and its politics?
Why opinion polls in India generally turn out to be wrong?
Why the government needs to change its outlook towards China and reckon it with considerably more respect?
Why the babulog of this country deserve much more attention?
Why India needs a major rehaul of its international diplomacy?
Why the concept of the Indian youth is a farce?
Why regional parties would in the future look more towards Assembly elections and not the distant Lok Sabha?
Why the Left needs to reassess their concept of communism and take some tips from Messrs Khruschev and Deng Xiaoping?
Why the Naxals are a bigger threat than terrorists?

And why India is in such a mess today?

Why am I doing this anyway?

- X

Any helpers?
